I ate dog in China! You know how you can smell something and know what it would taste like?, or taste something and know what it would smell like? I don't know what kind of dog it was, but I ate it at a Korean restaurant in Beijing (Peking). I have to say that I thought it tasted distinctly like a dirty, wet dog smells like when it comes in out of the rain!!!

Can anyone say that they've eaten anything worst?!

Hey man,
We just had a Thanksgiving dinner, and a Chinese lady cooked for us. At our table were jellied pig fat, "thousand year old" eggs (preserved, black nasties), and silk worm cocoons. Beat that for a Thanksgiving dinner.

No, the Chinese use a different word for "Thousand year old eggs." I don't know who coined the term, but it refers to the amount of time it takes to preserve the eggs. In the past they took several months I think, today they use a chemical method which preserves the egg much faster but isn't so safe to actually do. And from what I hear the new way of making the eggs leaves the egg with a high content of lead. So my friends over here in China say to not eat a lot of them. I'll try to find more info for you later. Hope this is somewhat helpful.
